AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 7 to ORDINANCE NO. 313, CITY OF YAMHILL, AS PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF YAMHILL ON APRIL 21, 1977.

THE CITY OF YAMHILL, OREGON, ORDAINS THAT SECTION 7. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTED AS CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL BE ADDED TO ORDINANCE NO. 313 AND IS AMENDED TO INCLUDE SAID SECTION 7, WHICH SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:

Section 7. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTED AS CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE. The City Council of the City of Yamhill hereby appoints the Planning Commission to serve as the Citizen Advisory Committee. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

1) To provide for widespread citizen involvement in land use and land use decisions.

2) To assure affective two-way communication with citizens in land use and land use decisions.

3) To provide the opportunity for citizens to be involved in all phases of the land use and land use decision process.

4) To assure that technical information is available in an understandable form on land use and land use decisions.

5) To assure that citizens will receive a response on land use and land use decisions.

6) To perform the duties of a Citizen Advisory Committee as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by the City Council of the City of Yamhill.
