AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YAMHILL, AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NUMBER 313, PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAMHILL.

WHEREAS, the Yamhill City Council deems it necessary to review and occasionally update the current Rules and Regulations for the Operation of the Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has located a need to update the Ordinance currently governing the Planning Commission; NOW THEREFORE,

THE CITY OF YAMHILL ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Ordinance Number 313, "Section 8 Authority to Remove Members" shall be added to read as follows:

Section 8 Authority to Remove Members. A member of this commission may be removed by the appointing authority, after a hearing, for misconduct or nonperformance of duty; or upon his absence from meetings of the Commission for 60 days without the consent of the Commission.

SECTION 2. All remaining provisions of Ordinance Number 313 are hereby reaffirmed in their entirety.
